The base of the storm looks great on streaming video considering how long ago it fired. The last satellite image I saw was 20 minutes old, but it looks like the cu just south of the storm that fired west of Gettysburg could be dying out so the storm may be very discrete. This thing could be a tornado machine. I would definitely be getting on that storm.

Nice ragid look to the base back around where you'd expect to see a tornado. I am extremely impressed with what I've seen so far as far as the environment and storm are concerned.

Storm looks like it is already starting to get a nice hook. The base of the storm is amazing if you aren't watching it. It seriously looks perfect for a young tornadic supercell. This really looks like it has the potential to be one of the best storms of the year.

tornado warning now issued for first cell in north central s. dakota. went up very quickly and was warned within 30 minutes. currently over the town of akaska, sd moving northeast at 30 mph. the town of lowry is in its path. tornado watch also issued for northeast s. dakota and se n. dakota.

The rotation is continuing t get better on radar. The streaming video is pretty awesome with this one. The storm looks great. It has a well defined base and it is starting to get ragid around the RFD slot. It is very well backlit too. I am really wishing I was there.

Watching the video streams it looks like its about to produce a tornado. Rotation continues to steadily increase on radar.

The first radar returns on that storm occurred directly over the Missouri river valley... I'm wondering if the localized enhanced low-level moisture and/or topographical effects had a hand in convective initiation.
