This is long overdue... I've (finally) converted and made available tornado/storm chasing videos from years past and posted them on the Videos page on my website at www.springwx.com. There are several videos available for viewing...and I'm adding more as I find archived storm chase videos in my collection.
The video available for this date is titled Grainfield, KS Tornadoes:
May 22, 2008: This was day 1 of 2 chase days in virtually the same location. We caught the first tornado near Grainfield, KS. This photogenic tornado lasted roughly 20 minutes. After this first tornado dissipated, we dropped south to catch the next storm in the line as the mud road we were on didn't allow us to get far enough north to catch the wedge tornado that followed. While the rotation within the second storm was phenomenal, it only produced a couple brief tornadoes. The contrast was not ideal, especially with the last tornado we witnessed this day.
