5/11/10 Now OK/KS/TX

MD suggesting TOR risk out for west central Ohio, outside the slight risk and outside any TOR prob. Interesting had not been watching the great lakes at all til now.

00Z sounding from OUN has eroded almost all of the cap, just a little let at 790mb with PLENTY of CAPE ready to roll... Helicity around 200.

Cells have had some broad rotation but never anything tight & strong. Plenty of warnings passing over populated areas but nothing happening on the ground other than a few funnel reports.

stronger and persistent rotation on the cell moving toward Harmon, OK

It's very broad (and pretty distant from the radarsite) so nothing spectacular. Looks like it's getting better but still nothing impressive from video streamers, and no spotters see any rotation. V2 is on that storm.

Rotation just picked up on that cell near Woodward from KVNX on the 0119 UTC scan. Just went tornado warned.

ADD: Couplet on it now from KDDC at 0123 UTC.

They went from VCP212 to VCP12 which helped out quite a bit. Still not sure what's going on, Mike Scantlin reported a funnel 2W, but at the same time an SVS was issued saying tornado was occurring about 2N of him (and there are 20+ spotternetwork people in the area and nobody else sees a thing.)

Strange... They issued a LSR which matches Mike's description exactly, but is about 3 miles away from where he plotted it. There has been no LSR of the tornado on the ground that was mentioned in the SVS statement, and the new TOR makes no mention of anyone seeing a tornado.
