TOG on KFOR helicopter shot at Moore, OK

<edit> Very brief spin up visible. Helicopter had to reposition and lost view in rain curtain.

Looks like the slow server has dampened the reports a bit. Anyhow looks like a tornado circulation coming up on Stanley Draper Lake... it started south of Moore around SW 34th & Western and as I type this at 2233 UTC it is near SE 134th & Air Depot Rd moving east-northeast.

Power here in east Norman is going nuts with surges and brownouts (not surprising... there is a major power substation on the south edge of Stanley Draper Lake)... glad I spent money for a good size UPS.

Media reporting a tornado in Norman now southeast of campus and debris in the air. So much for the force field.

Incredible footage of a tornado going through Norman on the KFOR live stream. Debris in the air...not good...=/

Just watched the KFOR live aerial video on The Weather Channel in OKC. The tornado passed over the highway with a small funnel. Unfortunately, there was traffic on the road and I saw a white truck spin to the side and flip over just after the funnel passed. I enjoy watching live tornado video but not people getting hurt. I hope the occupants are all right.

Mark Dillard reporting multiple cars rolled over and a truck stop destroyed on I-40 heading into Newalla

The hook on this storm is incredible, and it is moving so damn fast people don't even know what hit them.

EDIT: Wrong city listed

:eek::eek::eek:

They just reshowed this video, and yes you can clearly see the funnel pick that truck up and spin it off the road and it flips into the ditch... Amazing we can get this type of stuff on LIVE TV, let's hope nobody is seriously injured down there, but incredible to see such a sight. With this day and age of technology, some things are very disturbing to see, amazing stuff!

Terrible, terrible situation in Oklahoma City now. Those that cannot continue to chase may wish to stay in OKC and offer volunteer assistance to victims. There has been MAJOR damage (EF3+ estimated) east of OKC with likely people needing assistance.
