Tcu going up very fast just north of 40 and south of Leedey in western OK. Will be very interesting to see if they take advantage of all the good instability. Mike Phelps is streaming them just west of Oakwood also on Chasertv.com

Severe thunderstorm watch till 1am CDT. The initiation appears to be very rapidly organizing heading ESE.

edit: Custer storm svr warned... here we go

Just a half an hour ago they were playing with cows (I was really bored) and now they are chasing an amazing looking storm! It's a beautiful storm. New cells going up to the N/NE.

East of the storm on US-183... The cell blew up RAPIDLY. I'm roughly 12 miles east of the updraft (which currently looks rather high-based).

The warned storm is somewhat south of the earlier outflow boundary and I don't feel it will be able to interact with it as the boundary has pretty much stalled. Looking at the farther north cells I would think, even though they aren't blowing up quite as fast, they will have a much better chance to maybe ride/interact with the boundary.

Custer Co storm now taking on a well defined hook... SR velocities showing a developing couplet/meso. Perhaps i was wrong it is looking better and better.

Chip

edit:now a good couplet at the base too.

edit2:tor warned

New tornado warning issued for that storm. Phelps is still on it but not alot of lightning to help see anything on the stream. Velocities are still impressive. Looks like the core and rotation will pass west of Clinton. Lucky for them

Big Storm NW of OKC dropping tennis ball hail and lightning is pretty impressive even from here in Norman ingesting some very nice air.

looked to have a hook on it before but gone now

Did a very nice split before great right mover
