4/24/2008 NOW: CO, KS, NE, OK, TX, IA

The long duration tornadic supercell which has been traversing across northern Kansas for over 5 hours is now tornado warned once again. Northern Cloud County and southwestern Republic County are under the gun. Decent couplet has developed on the southwest side of the cell and is intensifying as it heads east northeast at 30 mph. Debris was reported just a few minutes ago on Highway 14 north of Beloit.
The circulation will pass over or just northwest of Concordia- this is a very, very dangerous situation, given the time of night.

EDIT - Intense couplet with TVS passing just northwest of Concordia attm. Without a doubt, there is a tornado on the ground with this storm. The circulation will cross US 81 between Concordia and Belleville and roughly parallel Kansas Highway 148 as the couplet moves east/northeast. The towns of Talmo, Wayne and Agenda, KS are directly in the path of this dangerous tornado!

EDIT 2: House reported destroyed 3 miles north of Beloit at 12:45 a.m. CDT!

Wow that TOR warned sup has some incredible SRV signatures. I bet the gate the gate shear is now approaching ~ 100 knts maybe (poorly estimated by me). Strong tornadoes look like a real possibility as the mesocyclone continues to cycle. Also the storm behind it to the southwest looks like its gaining in organization.

" AT 128 AM CDT...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A TORNADO 7 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF AGENDA...OR 8 MILES NORTHEAST OF CONCORDIA...MOVING
EAST AT 31 MPH. "
