My dashcam

I posted my own timelapse from the dashcam I had running but I have some amazing HD quality other video as well I & our own holytornado.com founder Jeremy Wilson has asked us to keep his video for the time being under wraps. If you caught the local FOX news in DFW you got to see a sneak preview but we are not releasing the actual video from Jeremy Wilson & Brandon Samson just yet but keep checking the back for updates. From what I am told it is one video to remember. ;-) Jeremy is having exactly what he needed. Between Hammon & this...yeah Jeremy!

I will post my own video from the HD cam as well as a few stills at holytornado.com before Thursday night

On a side note it is good to see Joel and Reed back together. :-)

After checking out some other reports Jeremy is actually in your video Bart :-) so we wanted to say howdy again and so that everyone kinda gets an idea of who was where etc. Awesome footage Bart!

Saw about 7 tornadoes in the east-central Texas panhandle. Same as everyone else. Great tornado day, but a failure with photo/video unfortunately for a few reasons. We were 1/4-1/2 mile from both tornadoes just to the WSW of Jericho, TX. A couple pics from this day:

Here is a link to the video compilation of the 3 tornado's I filmed NW of Dodge City. I am sure we (Myself, Randy Cooper, Tyler Costantini, and company) saw two on the ground at the same time to our SW, but my video didn't pick it up.

A Reminder to please report what you are seeing to the NWS. Don't forget to use Spotternetwork!

Have uploaded some images from this day from the Kit Carson area

Day 1 Stormchase - Colorado (and tornadoes and hail!)
http://www.stormchasers.au.com/usa220410.htm

The huge meso kept generating brief tornadoes and funnels

About 5 miles north of Kit Carson, we come across an area of incredible hail coverage
2204ch016t.jpg

In places, virtually all of the hail was 4cm or larger - these stones were rock hard!

About 10 miles northeast of Kit Carson, a stronger tornado gets its act together

So Cal to The PanHandles

Hey All,

Well, not much to add here either. Got tons of great footage and photos. Saw at least 5 or 6 tornadoes. Man, that one low level Meso was crazy cool! That thing was spinning like a top. This was by far the most rewarding chase I have ever had.

One frustrating thing was the Radar representation on Weather Worx was not good at all. I mean, the storms looked like junk on the WX Worx radar. Does anyone have any other radar grabs form those storms?

The exciting thing for me and my brother was that we flew out from Los Angeles to OKC the evening before with some stand by buddy passes. I love buddy passes.

Here is a little cinematic compilation of our two day chase in the Panhandles. In this video you will see shots from Wed/21st, and Thursday /22nd.

After seeing some of the great tornado pics on this thread, I feel like the "Buckless Yooper" in the movie Escanaba in da Moonlight: out in the woods, but no deer to show for it. We--Bill Oosterbaan, Mike Kovalchick, and I--jumped the gun and traded a good position east of Pampa for a play at the northern cluster of dryline storms. Our thinking was that those storms would produce once they hit the warm front, and one of them did in fact drop a tornado. But we were one storm removed from it, and halfway between the action in the southern panhandle and the storms in western KS. So, glancing ruefully from time to time at the big supercell to our south that everyone else in Texas seemed to be on, we made do with our compensation prize of a bunch of wall clouds, a few funnels, and a nicely banded but meaningless HP shelf cloud up around Beaver, OK.

In other words, we busted as far as tornadoes go. But I won't call this chase a wash. It was nice to finally get out of Michigan and see storms out on the Plains once again. There's always plenty to see and something new to learn.

You'll find a few pics and a lengthier writeup of both Thursday in Texas and Friday in northeast Kansas here.
