Both the reflectivity and storm-relative velocities from KAMA were very impressive between 0007z and 0011z. It's got to be mess trying to spot or chase on that thing. It's clearly wrapping up in rain. Velocity couplet remains impressive.

Velocities and shape now really losing magnitude. Either the storm is weakening or cycling. Looking at KAMA's VAD wind profile, the storm must've ingested some localized horizontal vorticity from the showers/convection to the west that merged with the storm just as the rotation flared up.

ADD: Wow, between the 0016Z and 0024Z volume scans the rotation/couplet just completely disappeared.

It appears to be wrapping up again just N of Umbarger on US-60. It's still a bit broad, but it does have some nice vertical continuity.

EDIT: Nice reflectivity ball just appeared in the time I posted.

This new storm has a huge TBSS on it on the 0045UTC volume scan all the way from 0.5 to about 10.1 degree tilts!
