• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Surprised no one has started a thread on this. A supercell fired near Tulia a few hours ago and there has been a reported tornado and it is still tornado warned, but it appears to be getting mashed together with other cells.

The SPC is upgrading their severe watch to a tornado watch mentioning the potential for more tornadic supercells as the evening wears on.

Several chasers streaming!

I was watching Drummonds live stream, being hauled off on a wrecker! He sits in front of a tire shop now it looks like. He must have had a blown tire or something. Cells seem to be really ramping up in the Panhandle. Tornado watch could be issued soon for the area.

Jeffrey Gonzales is streaming something pretty interesting...

Storms will be soon in a more favorable environment for tornado development

Interesting cell East of Lubbock, TX. My teammates Allan Theunissen & Réjean Boudreau (Québec vortex) are currently chasing this cell and are reporting a great rotating wall cloud 30 minutes ago

I can't tell if the boundary west of the KLBB radar is an outflow boundary or the dry line. Surface data and the West Texas Mesonet both indicate a sharp moisture gradient. SPC's MD says it's a outflow boundary based on satellite and radar. I'm pretty sure it's the dry line. Either way, storms have been exploding when they hit it.

Edit: Nevermind. It's an outflow boundary.

Very impressive hook showing up on a cell just north of KMAF on GR2. Some very intense G2G shear, too. One cell just NW of Lubbock had a G2G shear of over 110 kts, and this is at a range of 15 nmi from the radar! This area has been under multiple Tornado warnings today. I'll bet TTU Reese Center mesonet site will show some interesting stuff.

EDIT: Unfortunately, for some odd reason, none of the WTM meteograms have been updated since 1:15 CST/MDT.
