PDS tornado watch 130 just issued for SE OK,NE TX,and most of AR. Supercells expected to develop next few hours in warm front.

Tornado Warning out for Ozark,AR. Nice bow echo right on top of I-40. Deffinently had rotation in it. Wonder if any one is on this storm. Might get some descent size hail out of it too.

I don't know if anyone purposely chased this storm, but ST member Brian Emfinger lives just north of there and it almost chased him. Be interesting to hear what, if anything, he saw.

It was crappy. The storm that was out ahead of that line had some broad rotation that was visible only because I was nearly underneath it (you might say the cloud bases were/are a tad low). The storm that was in the line was even more of a rainy mess. I didn't see anything with that. I did stumble upon some damage from Caulksville to about halfway to Ozark but it certainly appears as though it was all straight line wind related and pretty sporadic (I didn't see any damaged houses there as is reported).

I was watching those impressive rainfall amounts across Boston Mts., AR. And I am wondering if those accumulations, at least according to radar measurements 6-7in in the last 24hrs, are also caused by the orographic effects as low-level SE winds are lifting to that Boston Mts. plateau? Is something similar actually not so rare there?

Meanwhile a tornado warning issued for the nice looking storm about 10mi NW of Jonesboro, AR.

Tornado warnings out for NE Arkansas -- Live streaming footage from KAIT-8, Jonesboro. They just showed a wall cloud, and there are damage reports from near Paragould, AR, in Greene Co.

6:18 for the Time in the Mod risk area. I dont see much happening except in NE Ark. I dont know if anything is going to happen before dark which will disapoint many chasers as well as make this a more dangerous outbreak.

It is 1:09 PM (Central Time) and a few tornado warnings are out on cells with strong rotation. Interesting at this time of night to see things still very active. The southern cell looks to get close to Natchez and the other cell is near Vicksburg. If anyone is still chasing stay safe.

I was on the storm that Heidi mentioned. It had a nice lowering and a semi looking wall cloud with slow rotation. Coulden't hang with it thru Paragould, it was hoonking at about mach5 and we gave up on it. Headed back to Newport and saw a couple of other lowerings on the way back, but nothing to write home about.
