It appears they have a lot of fun things for the whole family planned. Chasers are invited so this is a great opportunity to visit the museum if you are in the area. I hope to see some of you out there.

Good grief, I officially feel old now reading the title and the fact that it's been dang near 20 years since Twister was in theaters. Sounds like a fun event, the date it falls on certainly allows for me to make the trip, so I will plan on being there.

I plan on making the journey down from Lincoln. It's about a 5.5 hour drive so the current plan is to overnight in Blackwell on the 18th and then make the short drive to Wakita the morning of the 19th.

I had hoped to make this event, but I booked a trip to Calgary to visit Banff months ago that happens to be the same weekend. Have fun! Wakita is a neat little town.

I was quite excited when I found out they were having this. It actually falls 5 days before my 17th birthday, so that would seriously be the best birthday gift if I get to go. Wow. It seems like just yesterday this movie was released in theaters. (This movie is only 2 years older then me.) I really want to make it out there, because this is something I have been waiting for, well, years. So... I have no clue quite yet if I will be attending, my mom decided to move away quickly, not even waiting until after my birthday to go. :/ I will be asking my grandparents if they would be able to watch my younger siblings while me and my dad head out there, if not, I will unfortunately not be able to attend. If I can make it, I look forward to meeting ya'll, I plan on cosplaying as my Twister character, Jenna, which is Jo's daughter. XD (I can't really cosplay as Jo, because my hair color isn't blonde.) Anyways, good luck and see ya'll there. (If I can go.)
