Here it is from the TDWR on the NE side of Dallas. Pretty dang impressive.

We were heading west on 380 from McKinney (having been on the prior storm to roll through the same area) and all I can say is, if there had been a significant tornado on the ground, it would've been El Reno all over again. We bailed to the south towards Little Elm because there was so much traffic, I didn't think we'd be able to drive up to the storm and then turn around and blast back east to escape. As it was, it took us a half hour to work our way down to The Colony, while the storm fortunately moved north of us. Of course it went on to produce a tornado east of McKinney, unlike the first storm we'd just chased to that same area. DFW sucks for chasing.

We chased it starting in McKinney. The traffic was absolutely ridiculous. We were lucky there wasn't a tornado on the ground until we got east of McKinney. We weren't very lucky, however, in that there was golfball and larger hail we were stuck in for quite some time trying to get ahead of the storm. Having to deal with that traffic while trying to get ahead of a potential developing tornado was a pretty uncomfortable experience for me I must say.

Much like you Shane, we chased the first storm along 380 until bailing on it in Princeton. We headed back West along 380 and got into pretty good position at the Mt Zion Cemetery (423) to witness the new, tornado warned cell coming through Denton. Visibility was pretty terrible due to the low contrast, but we could see the wet and very cold RFD coming around to kill off the wall cloud. We decided at that point to bail south on 423 towards Little Elm and not chase the cell East on 380 into rush hour traffic. We intercepted the next couple of strong hail storms coming along the same boundary.

I'm thankful that there was not a strong tornado with that cell as it would have spelled bad news for Denton, McKinney and all of the rush hour traffic along 380.
