Hi all, I am looking for people to chase with in the Norhern half of Illinois for the most part. I am located in Bourbonnais, Illinois which is about an hour south of chicago (Kankakee) and typically chase anyhere in the northern half of the state. My friend that I typically chase with is in Fort Wayne Indiana now so I often have to go solo. I think it would be beneficial to have some other Illinois people to occaisionally chase with.

I am a novice when it comes to forecasting, but I have self-taught myself over the years, have a decent handle on reading realtime analysis and always looking to improve. I think chasing with someone more meteorlogically knowledgable would be an awesome experience. I have been chasing Illinois since 2004.

I realize its probably going to be a while before any good chase opportunities in Illinois, but I'm always interested in taking photographs of non-tornadic severe weather, and lightning.
