2013-08-10 REPORTS: CO, NM, AZ

Caught a severe-warned storm northwest of Pagosa Springs, CO the afternoon of August 10, 2013. Soon, copious amounts of pea to 1/2-inch hail arrived, driven by gusts to around 40 mph, giving me my best hail video opportunity in a few years. Not big hail, but lots of it. Some rather interesting lightning behavior,too - note in the picture below how the lightning goes from the cloud to (or at least near) the ground, then back up again:
