Hey all, long time no chase.
I was on vacation last week near South Haven, Michigan and had a few days with storms. There were a few days with storms to enjoy. On this particualr day, an airmass thunderstorm formed just south of my location due to strong convergence just inland from the lake. I had the chance to do a bit of "kayak storm chasing" if you will. I did not encounter anything severe but there was some intense lightning and a neat outflow feature that moved over Lake Michigan.
Here is the view of the storm at its peak intensity before I headed out on the kayak.

Now some views from about a half mile or so out on the lake - here is the outflow moving North.
