Hey so this is my first time posting in Target area, so please forgive me if I have made a mistake.

Alerts are starting to pop up for Southern Manitoba.

Severe thunderstorm watch for
City of Winnipeg continued

This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.

Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements. If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety precautions.

If you would like to report severe weather, you can call 1-800-239-0484. Please note, this phone number is only for reporting severe weather.

An unstable airmass over Southern Manitoba is resulting in scattered thunderstorm development this afternoon. A brief tornado or two is possible in the parklands area of Western Manitoba, along with potentially heavy downpours from slow-moving cells. In the Red River Valley including Winnipeg...Partially clearing skies could set the stage for severe thunderstorm development later this afternoon as a trough of low pressure moves through the area.

Gonna watch this and see if it develops and see if I can get on it if it does.

Again, let me know if I used "target Area" correctly.

I think at most there will be some heavy rain falls and thunderstorms with this one. Seems it lost most of it power over Saskatchewan. I will continue to watch just in case though.
