Moderate Risk Day but about all I can say about a N Central & N East Texas "chase" (before the day is officially over), some wind, a lot of lightning, and a lot of good rain that will benefit the lakes and ponds somewhat, going into summer. I'm sure the power crews are busy replacing transformers and some roofs were damaged here and there due to some nasty winds, otherwise I think NY and CT had more action than Texas.
I kept jogging East and South from an initial start point of Hillsboro trying to avoid the MCS and looking for sunshine and perhaps a rouge discreet cell somewhere but never found any. The front pushed through faster than anticipated ... again
