Photo #1 shows a developing wall cloud that we intercepted a few miles South of Gainesville, TX around 7:15 pm.
Photo #2 shows a funnel cloud that had developed just north of our location and practically overhead.
Around 6:30 pm we departed the Richardson Texas area and drove north towards exploding thunderheads and an anticipated intercept near Gainesville. It was a sojourn into raw beauty.
