• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

OK, I tried this last year, however without establishing any rules it was hard to keep track of people's predictions and see who accurately guessed a date. I thought I would try this again.

Give us your best guess as to what date and where a significant tornado event will take place this coming spring. Please limit to three guesses per person. This will keep things simple and allow us to go back at the end of the year and see who guessed right. Please use my predictions below as an example:

May 14: Texas panhandle (tornado outbreak)

May 30: Central Oklahoma

June 4: Southwest Oklahoma

I am not picking any certain area.
March 28, Kansas to Texas
April 12, Nebraska to Texas
May 24-25, Nebraska and Iowa

April 14th - Texas Panhandle

May 3rd - Western KS Outbreak

May 5th - Central Kansas

May 25th - Nebraska

April 10, TX panhandle Western OK

May 4, Central OK

June 7, Western KS

I shall play along with an early, mid, and late season pick...

April 21 - Somewhere near Canadian, TX

May 25 - Somewhere near Garden City, KS

June 7 - Somwhere near Last Chance, CO (gotta have 1 pick on my home turf!)

I haven't read any other posts, so here goes...

May 7th Western OK (Sayre)
May 27th South Central KS (Medicine Lodge)
June 21st Southeastern NE (Beatrice)

Ah well just for the fun of it

May 2nd - TX/OK Panhandle and W Kansas Outbreak

May 23rd - N Central Ks & Nebraska Outbreak

Jun 5th - South Dakota and Iowa Outbreak

Hoping for a better May than 09 though

Paul S

Significant tornado events

March 25 Mississippi and Alabama

May 2 North central Oklahoma and southern Kansas

June 3 Southeast Nebraska and Iowa

Can't say where, but May 2. Write it down. We will have one of the best days of our career then.
