Who's all planning on making it to Denver for the 10th annual National Storm Chasers Conference?

Michael, Eric and I are all signed up and will be staying the weekend.

We will once again be selling the Storms of 2007 Charity DVD as well as copies of '04 - '06 at our booth and will be showing previews and highlights.

I'll have my tornado simulator running and may even bring in some of my Wicked Witch RC Video planes for display.

Hope to see everyone there! :)

I've never been to one of these before, but this year I think I might very well go. Since it's President's Day weekend, I get that Monday off, and I've been dying to see the Rockies again (if I could live in any state, I would hands-down choose Colorado). Do you guys think it would be better to buy the airfare before or after Christmas?

Frontier is having a sale which ends today (sorry guys)... but for those who know you're coming, you could nab a good deal...

Also, check with Southwest Airlines... they have pretty good specials as well..

Be flexible... save some money by flying out Thursday as opposed to Friday... believe me, there is plenty to do in Denver and surrounding areas to pass the extra day. Obviously an extra hotel night might offset the savings on flight, but that's up to you.

Thinking about it. But this time looking to road trip it out there for fun.

Thanks for the airline links, Tony. Sadly, for me, the nearest airport that Frontier or Southwest fly to is about 3 hours away...I'm just wondering if the airlines will drop their fares after the holidays or if it's better to buy it ASAP. Anyone have experience/knowledge with this?

It's anybodies guess about airfares. They will sometimes drop the price closer to the time but less likely around a holiday weekend. I am more concerned about airfares going up due to fuel costs. If you can, I would recommend flying up a day early and/or leave a day later to see if there is any savings. There is a lot of cool stuff to do around Denver and the nearby mountains.

I'm probably going. Trying to plan out all of my vacation right now, so I'll see. Might fly out just Friday evening and back Sunday and not spend any days... Or go out a bit early and do some snowmobiling... Choices, choices...

I'll likely be there...haven't attended for a few years so I'm looking forward to it. Trying to take advantage of this Frontier deal $64 each way from Chicago Midway :)

I hope I get to go this year. I have to work the days of the event but I hope I can get off to go to this great convention.
