2004-06-12 DISC: Mulvane & Rock, KS Revisited

Great stuff Sam. I was checking out your Youtube stuff, and I came across this one:

I was actually on tham same storm, and captured the same intense strike against that building (I don't know what it is called):

We were located in the City Courts parking garage on Industrial, just south of Woodall Rodgers. Can I ask where you are shooting from in your shot? I looks like a good vantage point for downtown.

My friend and current chase partner (Matt Hughes) got some really awesome footage from the June 12th, 2004 Mulvane tornado! Check it out through the link below. The trees getting ripped out of the ground, thrown across the dirt road, and then brought back across by the intense circulation is crazy!

As for me, I got stuck west of the Arkansas River because the main paved road that went north into Mulvane was blocked off by a police officer (None of the dirt roads south of Mulvane cross the river). I was still happy with what I got. June 12th is my birthday, and that storm was the best birthday gift I have ever received!!! My video can be found through the link below.

Of course I have seen the main gorgeous picture but this video really shows what you and Eric encountered along the way before that major shot. Thanks for letting us view it

Here is what Eric Nguyen and I saw on June 12, 2004. It is a 9-minute clip with the best stuff at the end.
