Two Army soldiers were killed and three others were injured during a "weather-related incident" during training at Yonah Mountain in north Georgia on Tuesday afternoon. The Army has released no further details as to what the "weather-related incident" was. Thunderstorms were in the area at the time and emergency management reported that trees were blown down on the mountain during the storm.

This yet another reason why the nation needs a National Disaster Review Board. From what I have been able to learn, this was a well-forecasted, obvious event -- yet people got killed. The Kentucky floods were well forecasted and warned of yet 37 (or more) people died.

If you agree with me, please write your to your congressional delegation.
