Thunder-Snow... Heavy thunderstorms, with precipitation falling as snow, are occuring along the western slopes of the Cascade Mtns. It is an amazing site to see! Snow is falling at the rates of ~ 3+ inches per hour, while lightning flashes all around overhead. Will post photos and upload video clips to website soon. I am reporting from the Chinook Pass, WA area, where the pass is closed and winds are 40-50mph, with intense lightning and very heavy snow squalls. Already over two feet of snow, with another two feet expected in the next 12 hours!
