Wow, the storm southwest of Holdenville, OK intensified rather quickly - intense velocity signature a couple scans ago along with a TVS signature, followed quickly by a SVR warning, and then quickly by a TOR warning. Storm speed indicated at 65 mph. With the system moving towards more unstable air over the coming hours, figure a NOW thread is warranted.

OK-Storms

The storms west of MLC are showing signs of rotation as the temps warm SE of MLC to DFW area would expect a few more rotating storms. The storms are hauling NNE 50+.

Looking like an intense tornadic supercell now just to the north of SHV. Wouldn't surprise me to see this being a strong tornado with impressive shear parameters and even 0-3KM cape approaching 100 j/kj now around SHV

I've not seen any spotter reports - but the mets at that office are seeing it, no word of any damage.

{Correction, I think they messed up their statements, I think they meant they were tracking a storm with possible tornado}

That area is right on the edge of the better instability, the stuff more to the northeast in Arkansas doesn't have a lot of CAPE to play with.
