I agree with Andrew, there is a small zone with 2500 j/kg CAPE on southern KS, and it seems the cap started to break on the west side of the 1000 j/kg CAPE zone, near Guymon, OK. I think some great structures could develop in NW and NC OK and SC KS, near 2100Z. It seems eastern KS is getting N surface winds, that is why OK would be my target area. Prepare for a night lightning show, maybe.

FWIW, we're still out here in NW Oklahoma. We're going to head north into Kansas to see if anything can come of the Cu field east of Liberal. It's probably going to be our only hope. I don't believe humans exist in that geographic region and wifi and cell phone coverage will not be available. Plus, of all the laughable and stupid things to do, we both left our wx radios behind (one of the few forms of entertainment available in the middle of nowhere). That combined with horrible dewpoints and a shortwave that doesn't want to eject and I think we have the perfect recipe for success! If anything happens we'll be in place.
