I did a gentleman's chase after work and played with a line of severe storms in Goochland County, just west of Richmond. I just headed out with video camera and weather radio. Because this would be a mainly high wind event, I kept to open areas away from trees. I was avoiding the hail since I my usual chase vehicle is dead in the shop. Due to haze after a 100 degree day, visibility was poor.

I did shoot some cool video of sparking powerlines and blowing dust.
