Scott Kampas and I made the haul out to South Dakota/Nebraska today to chase the two-day event and were rewarded.
Long story short, we witnessed the brief, partially rain-wrapped tornado near Sparks, NE in Cherry County. More details later, and maybe a vid cap is a possibility from Scott, but there really wasn't much to photograph here. It was rain-wrapped, low contrast, and lasted a very short amount of time, but a W is a W. Good way to break the drought for 2007.
Staying in O'Neill, NE tonight...planning on entering the Minnesota tornado sweepstakes tomorrow.
