What an awesome chase day in ne CO! My son Michael and I left Denver around 3pm and could not catch the line of storms that had formed and was moving south of I-70 near Limon, CO. We checked wifi a couple of times and then headed up I-76 to intercept the cell that was coming south out of NE. We positioned ourself on a hill to the east of Sterling CO and watched the show below:
Meso over Sterling, CO
Wallcloud and small gustnado
Small funnel over Sterling
Strongly rotating wallcloud with funnel
Meso continues south to Merino, CO the heads east into NE
