At this time looks like the activtiy in WI is forming a slight bow or line in SW WI. with other activity in SE MN. ATT I'll probably just hang by in RFD since it seems to be headed this way. However unsure by the time it gets here what kind of intensity it will have. Very Strong cell in NW Crawford county. KMKX BV is showing a 87.5k wind at 14kft !

Storm near Hospers, IA

South of Primghar, IA looking west at a the large cell forming near Hospers, IA. Great supercell forming with 60,000 foot top. Shear is nice, and we have some areas trying to form a wall cloud. Strong updrafts. Lightning and rain in our location. Minor rotation.

Roger Hill has reported upwards of 9 landspouts from the storms in Kit Carson County, including the large landspout. More details at thedenverchannel.com

Rotating supercell over Green CO WI looks to impact our area here in RFD..Should be interesting as strength seems to be maintaining itself..No Tornadoes but storm has shown consistant rotation.

Of course that cell has weakened now as the convection to the west caught up with it..look like its having trouble advancing east as the line sinks SSE.
Tomorrow looks good south and east of here..

The tornado warned cell in ne NE had some pretty sweet stucture with it for a short period of time. Watched it with Steve Peterson and dropped se with it. It looked like garbage until we were punching east under it. THen it rapidly made its change over our heads. We were both amazed it did what it did coming from such garbage, after it had looked ok just before that. Well I'm even more surprised at what just worked out. Just got an lightning illuminated storm right behind Decatur Nebraska's fireworks display. Was getting some sprinkles during it but think the stills should be fine. All in all a day that was much more fun than I expected.

well looks like here in IL at least, things are all linear, and the threat at the time being is heavy rain.. MCS starting to lose a little steam

Yeah not much severe threat any longer around here either. Lots of heavy rain and lightning though. Got a bit over 2 1/2" here since midnight, and still raining lightly...
