06/08/09 NOW: CO/MI/WI/IL/IN/MO/AR/OK

Surprised no one has mentioned the monster supercell in S Illinois that is tor-warned and has produced several tornadoes. It has a strong couplet on radar and is going to move to the east of Carbondale. A good example of what a storm can do when it makes a right turn!

Beautiful cell NW of Sterling, Colorado. Still decent shear, great area of helicity.
Couplet on radar with a slight hook. Chased the storm that fired NE of Fort Collins just before this one and observed some low level rotation in the clouds and some nice inflow. I should have kept going!
