A tornado warned cell is trucking NE or maybe ENE amidst the junk that is traversing I-40 in central/west-central AR right now. It was kind of impressive to watch it wrap up all of a sudden and a mig, meaty hook with a ball of precip form on the end of it for a few scans. It's now a little OTT on the "meat"......quite messy.

Two tornado watches in effect for a good portion of AR, MS and northern LA, one progged to expire at 5PM and the other at 8PM. Interestingly, the only tornado-warned cell in AR could - if it keeps tracking on it's current course - end up outside of the watch box.

Complex convective situation evolving over three states - I'd be interested to know of anyone actually chasing this mess.

Really interesting cells going up in central Texas. One in Robertson county and the other in Milam county. According to the spc mesonanalysis, both will soon be entering better moisture, better shear, and better CAPE if they can sustain themselves.

Texas needs to be added to the thread and maybe NE,KS and MO.

There is currently 3 nice super cells just east of Austin, Texas and the one near Centerville has strong rotation. For some reason when I use KGRK on GRLevel3 nothing comes up but I can see them using KFWS. Now sure what the problem is.

Anyone chasing these storms?

Nebraska City cell has gone to hell. it got up to about 20,000 feet and now its collapsing. Maybe the outflow from it will kick up some other cells around it. Still watching the cell SE of Kearney.

Regrettably I believe KGRK is down. Perfect timing! KFWS is the only solution attm. KHGX is a bit far. Moisture train moving up I-45 and TX-6 on backed SE sfc winds. These storms blew up fast with high CAPE, thanks to upper 80s temps and 68-70 Td, and new southern stream upper energy coming out. Now those SE sfc winds need to increase just a bit, which could be accomplished locally with inflow.

The KGRK seem to be offline today.

Keetu Adam is on the eastern cell, Indeed it looks pretty wekk organized as well as the cell to its SW. But I can't find stream from Adam, looks like he is in great position. Anyone has a link?

EDIT: Bill Tabor there as well: http://www.severestudios.com/cgi-bin/player-full.pl?username=bill.tabor&uid=40

Towers going up like crazy south and east or Lincoln, I have a great view of them indoors:( from my work in northeast Lincoln. Tornado watch will be up shortly I'm sure

Edit: looks like tornado watch just issued.

If the cell southeast of Lincoln produces, I think its going to be rain wrapped. Looks like it will miss Lincoln and pose more of a threat to Waverly.

That storm in MO has a nice hook and the area of rotation looks to move right over the town of Whiteside. New tornado warning out for the storm north of Lincoln, Nebraska.

What an overhyped crappy chase day.

It sucks when the best looking storm of the day is after dark 20 miles off the coast at PCB.
