Hi Gang,

dont often post reports from the other side of the world ... hopefully
this is the correct place to post ( mod's please let me know )

Had what turned out to be an excellent chase on friday 23rd Jan.
it took me south of the city of Sydney, NSW, Australia. It started off not
looking too good with only rain cells with minimal lightning. But returning
back towards Sydney, I saw one of my best cells ever.

Great pictures there Dave! What is it with Australia this year? Some astounding storms, particularly in Queensland over the last few months. I surmise the La Nina pattern must have some contribution to this. Keep us updated with future storm intercepts.. I hope to some day to do one of those "Thunder down under" chases.

Awesome capture. Australia been making the weather news lately, what with the massive storms in December, and now record heat. Hope to see more of you!
