Your Dream Tornado

Just put in a storm chasing DVD when you go to sleep, and that should help....although I would not suggest Tim Marshall's DVD from a few years back with him saying all the time, "it's "T" time"....that dream could get a little weird....:D

One of my chase buddies always told me...

Dream about wedge tornadoes, gorilla hail cores, and beautiful supercells tonight :-)

The only problem is that with nearly every tornado dream I have ... I either cannot find my camera or it won't record / work for some reason 99.9% of the time!

Pecos Bill aka Patric Swayze does that in the movie "Tall Tales".

I am afraid Pecos Bill was riding tornadoes long before Patrick Swayze was ever thought of.

As the legend goes...

Now everyone in the West knows that Pecos Bill could ride anything. No bronco could throw him, no sir! Fact is, I only heard of Bill getting' throwed once in his whole career as a cowboy. Yep, it was that time he was up Kansas way and decided to ride him a tornado.
Now Bill wasn't gonna ride jest any tornado, no ma'am. He waited for the biggest gol-durned tornado you ever saw. It was turning the sky black and green, and roaring so loud it woke up the farmers away over in China. Well, Bill jest grabbed that there tornado, pushed it to the ground and jumped on its back. The tornado whipped and whirled and sidewinded and generally cussed its bad luck all the way down to Texas. Tied the rivers into knots, flattened all the forests so bad they had to rename one place the Staked Plains. But Bill jest rode along all calm-like, give it an occasional jab with his spurs.
Finally, that tornado decided it wasn't getting this cowboy off its back no-how. So it headed west to California and jest rained itself out. Made so much water it washed out the Grand Canyon. That tornado was down to practically nothing when Bill finally fell off. He hit the ground so hard it sank below sea level. Folks call the spot Death Valley.
Anyway, that's how rodeo got started. Though most cowboys stick to broncos these days.

Chris, this is seemingly common with many of those polled:

I had another one last night ... second night in a row!

This time, I was observing waterspouts and was working on my car with Tony Laubach and some various other folk. I got really excited and tried to get everyone going so we could go to the shore and check them out ... but no one wanted to go, not even Tony. Shame on you Tony. Shame.

I have so many tornado dreams in my life. I know and dream about tornadoes since I was little kid.

1. I was at park in town with my camera. I saw tornado that look like Tuscaloosa's tornado. I see horizontal vortice going over my head. tornado moving close to me.
2. driving into almost transparent wedge tornado south of my town. I can see vortices all over and debris flying. recording from few cameras in my truck..... made great videos of inside of the wedge tornado.
3. I moved to Tuscaloosa with my mobile home and caught a weird rope tornado on first day in Tuscaloosa! people was there with me videotaping from their phones......... guess the videoes of Tuscaloosa rope tornado will be on youtube all over again, making people think that Tuscaloosa is most tornado-prone town.

Some of my non-tornado dreams did became real for me in my life........
so some day one of my tornado dreams will become real for me.
