I searched through the first 5 or so pages of the forum and couldn't find a thread like this, so I am going to start one. I know many of us shoot video and post it on youtube, whether it is professional or just for fun. Part of a DVD or not I think it would be fun to post your best 2 or 3 videos from this year. Obviously I am not asking for the "good" stuff if you have plans to make a DVD. Just curious to see more storms! I love watching other people's storm videos and at times will put myself in their shoes and think about how I would react, or what I would do, or what I wouldn't do given that situation. Could be used as a learning experience. Finally to all the newer chasers out there, now is a perfect chance to blow us away with your awesome footage! I recall watching a video from a newer chaser the other day on 6/17. I was in awe and a bit jealous of the video he got! So without further rambling I will post my best 3 videos from this year...

Hope you all enjoy and post some of your own... whether it is supercells, thunderstorms, lightning, tornado, hail, or just a sunset I'd love to see it!

:D

Amazing clips! It has been a dismal year for thunderstorms in this region of the country overall. Can I post video of other events I have chased?

Hurricane Earl:

Heavy Deformation Band in Central NC (strong UVV snows):

Definitely nothing compared to the plains but some lightning:

My best video of the year came from June 17th in southern MN. I ended up piecing the video into two separate clips.

Cool stuff Danny and Jeremy. I didn't get much in the way of video this year, mostly because i hate my crappy camera. It did do pretty good on April 22, though:

Excellent videos! I enjoyed them all. Especially the 4/22 tornadoes. I also got the tornadoes this day, but not quite at the same distance as you guys...

For the first time, I actually had a much better photography year than videography year in 2010 so I don't have a ton to add to this thread.

Top two would be the Bowdle, SD storm time lapse, and then the June 23rd northern Illinois hurricane.

I only watch storm chasing videos that have Youtube titles that start with "EXTREME..." ... and none of these apply. You all need to market your videos better. Psh.

Wow. There are some incredible videos in this thread. I have a few, but these don't even hold a candle to 100% of the above vids.

May 10th, Zenda, Kansas:

June 14th, semi-local mini supercell timelapse. Never produced, but I'm still a sucker for timelapses:

There are only a handful of videos from 2010 and that frustrates me. Work obligations extremely limited my time on the pavement this year.
