I'm starting this thread to share the last best recent mesocyclones shot.
As regards me I took some pictures of a nice sculpted supercell in Nort-West Italy near Turin 5 days ago.

Beautiful, Andrea! That's a really nice storm. I'm curious: how often do you see supercells in Italy?

Thank you Bob!
In June-July-August could happen quite often; this year after half June every week we had at least 1 monster supercell in North Italy but it's not so common in the years; usually we have have a little less frequency.

Going through my pics, here's pretty much my top 5 meso shots...

#5
July 4, 2010 - Clayton, NM | Pretty NW flow storm that was difficult to forecast. This storm rolled off of the Raton Mesa and went nuts for a long time. We even caught a possible tornado with this storm.

April 11, 2012 - Borger, TX | Very slow moving supercell that dumped 4 feet of hail north of Amarillo.

May 30, 2012 - Cottle County, TX| Dusty storm that dumped some serious hail and a brief tornado.

May 23, 2011 - Cooperton, OK | Panoramic of this beast!

June 12, 2012 - Crossroads, NM | Best meso I've ever taken, at 11pm at night. Lightning, structure, and tornado in one shot. Not much better than that!

This was, and still is over a decade later, my best meso/structure shot. It was taken May 29, 2001 near Conway, TX:

And the Woodward, OK April 9th 2012 was phenomenal:

That picture Roger Hill got in SD a few days back makes me feel like an idiot for living in KS through the summer, seems like 2012 was the year of the meso... more and more NW flow has delivered some awesome structure.

I tend to focus more on the bear than its habitat, and hence I don't have many great structure shots. I have some room for improvement. I'll let others decide which of these three is the best. All three were shot this year.

This is probably my best pic of a meso, although I didn't go through all my files to see others that might be noteworthy. This was taken June 19th, 2010 in north central Ks. It did produce a brief tornado, but we did not see it.
