Would you be interested in a Storm Chasing Game?

To be honest, I don't think there is enough of a market for a storm chasing game made by a "proper company." Storm chasing is a real niche hobby. Besides, a lot of proper companies are just a few guys working in a garage, or at least that's how they started out.

What do you have envisioned for this game? What's the platform that it runs on? How does it look in your head? What are the winning objectives of the gameplay? It sounds like an interesting idea, and I program 3D graphics for a living so I'd love to bounce ideas around or help you out if you get stuck.

Any news on what happened with that game? Looks like a lot of work went into it already.

I was wondering that myself, it was a little rough around the edges but definitely far and away ahead of anything developed of its kind. It's been a year yesterday since we last heard, if you are around Marc we'd love to hear if the project is still ongoing!

Thats the same person I might be working with to make the game, I have received a few messages from him on youtube, but my 3d modeling is really bad. I have the a7 version of 3d game studio so I can hopefully help out a bit creating this game.

Did you put any samples on youtube of what you have done so far? Would you mind posting a link? For a while I have always thought it would be a great idea, but really haven't pushed at it since I really have nothing to contribute since I am not trained to work with 3D graphics and/or computer technology. There may be other ways I can contribute but first things first!

I created a storm chaser simulation

A few years ago, I created a weather website and a stormchaser simulation/game of my design for the Annenburg foundation. It certainly is not a videogame. It was meant to be educational and have some amount of interactivity, not to be a shoot em up no brainer of a videogame.

I have used it with my classes and more. You can view it here and try it out.

http://www.learner.org/interactives/weather/index.html

click on powerful storms and then click on the wind vane.
Good luck

I wanted it to be more interactive and have more graphics etc etc. But I ran out of time and they would not agree to more graphics etc . etc. Someday I hope to make it more interactive etc.
PS I would be interested to know how you all might like to see it or another more interactive. What would you look for in a interactive stormchasing game
? let me know
