Every spring (late winter) I read The Tornado by Thomas Grazulis. Its a wealth of information on the history of the tornado and its impact on humanity, along with a wonderful reflection on the time line of severe weather meteorology and the people and events that helped advance the science. More of a history book than anything but a very compelling read.
