I studied all of the reviews I could find for both the Canon 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 and the Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6. As usual, there were advantages and disadvantages to both. I check pricing through a number of sites including fredmiranda.com, but still came back to our trusted friends at B&H Photo in NYC. The Canon was $649 and the Sigma was $479, both with free shipping. I have a Sigma 17-70mm that I bought from Dustin Wilcox through ST that I have been very happy with, so I decided to go with the Sigma since I'm not a professional photographer in any sense of the word. It should arrive by next Friday and I will get to try it out for a couple of days before I head back to the Great Plains for my next round of the season.
