Troopers Warning Storm Spotters To Obey Rules Of The Road

Had a storm chaser pass me yesterday in the TX Panhandle going at least 100 if not 110. This was in a 75 mph zone with no danger around. The storm was near Pampa TX. I found out who he was and called him. I didn't chew him out, but I tried to teach him that what he did was wrong. He was very receptive and respectful towards me which helped him out in the long run.

A lot of chasers say let them speed because they aren't hurting anyone, but I beg to differ. If we don't police ourselves and try to do what's right, then more negative focus will be brought upon us that we don't want.
