Saturday night me and a few friends went camping, overnight some storms developed and rolled through the area and as the last storm rolled through it had a lot of CG lightning. One of the lightning strikes we could tell struck nearby, very bright flash and very loud. Once the storm passed and we headed out we discovered a tree not far from our campsite that was struck by lightning.
Luckliy I had my digital camera with me, unfortunately I only had enough battery to snap one picture of it.
