Check these out. I am amazed the the number of tornadoes appearing in unusual places. Though not nearly as common as in the USA and more temperate regions, I've seen some nice footage.

While on my honeymoon on Grand Cayman, my wife and I sat in an outdoor restaurant and ate dinner as two waterspouts danced offshore. It was really a cool experience. The wife was a little freaked out but after she found out that they were moving away from us, she enjoyed them too...
