Tornado hits UK town overnight

It's been a spell of spicy weather here in the UK of late, and a system produced hail in Ireland, a bow echo with lightning, and what seems a pretty strong tornado last night. The country has been battered by successions of low pressure systems and this one had a bit of a sting.

 
Not sure how interested other members are on international events, but here's a radar shot from the time, showing the tail on the storm, both large scale view and close up with smoothing. Sadly I don't know of any doppler velocity radars based in the UK.
