TomTom Buddies (GPS)

The TomTom Plus Services (Traffic, Weather, etc.) also includes a thing called TomTom Buddies.

With TomTom Buddies, you can invite other TomTom users to see your position and you can see their position. You can also send them messages or send them a location.

I think this could be a cute toy for when storm chasing as you can send email-like messages to each other, and if you're chasing near each other/together you can send them a coordinate of perhaps where you expect to target, where you plan on intercepting, etc.

With all that said, anyone want to be my first TomTom Buddy so I can play with this?

I have the Street Pilot... I don't think it works for that. Otherwise I would.....

Very cool.. I use a Garmin, but need to update the map here soon! lol
I may look into the TomTom though in the future. Thanks for info and the invite though.
