It looks like I am officially infected with SDS, as during past few days, I've been digging into my photo archives and took a look of thunder shots done throughout 2007.
2007 thunderstorm season was a very exciting thunderstorm season for me. This year, in June, I finally got myself my own digital camera, PENTAX Optio E30, and I no longer had to borrow one as the weather broke out loose. The best months for me were definitely July and August when two severe night time thunderstorms broke out. I got night time shots from both of them.
This year, I actually had guts to actually take the some shots outside. Earlier, when there was even a single rumble, I was inside the house and nothing would get me out. This year, it was different. I was observing it from outside until either the rain began, thunder got too loud or lightning strikes came closer than 3 kilometers or squall winds picked up.
I have gathered some of my shots from 2007 to this page. I hope you like it.
Looking at some shots, I can't believe that even 4 years ago, thunderstorms scared the wits out of me...
