I'm dreaming of a white...Thanksgiving? Wait a minute. ;)

I have been keeping my eye around Thanksgiving Day now for over a week, as various models continue to point towards a decent snowfall event across parts of the Midwest.

Now that we are less than a week away, it appears the the EURO continues to have a decent handle on how things might evolve. A few days ago it tracked a deepening surface low through the mid Mississippi river valley and into the Ohio river valley. Now it has taken that track further west and almost up the Mississippi river now. I do question how much phasing between the northern stream and the southern stream is going on though, so I am weary of a drop back to the east a bit from these runs.

This storm is not seasonable all that strong but is converging on a time when A LOT of people will be traveling.

Looks like a moderately wide swath of 4-8" is likely mainly across parts of Iowa into Minnesota.

Obviously hard to pinpoint this far out but likely a bit further SE than the previous heavy snowfall event.

Get ready to hear about this one on TWC next week ;)
