_____________

It has been a wet and "cool" summer here in DFW in 2004. Most areas have experienced anywhere from 16 to 20 inches of rainfall during this three month period, with the official measuring station located at DFW Airport recording 18.89 inches of rain.

It will also be interesting to see how the temperature averages for this summer compare with previous summers. I would "predict" that this summer of 2004 could be one of the top ten "coolest" summers on record.
We have only experienced one day with a temperature at or exceeding 100'F. We usually average 16 100'F days during the course of an average summer.

Now, what kind of Fall chasing season will we have??? Stay tuned for that one.
