Hola ST'ers!

Back in late August, I was out in Prince Edward Island on business and snapped a few shots of this lowering(?). I'm curious as to what it might be. The day in question was fairly clear, although the image appears to have darker shaded skies, the camera makes things a little misleading...lot's of blue. The parent cloud was nothing to write home about either. A struggling waterspout maybe? Fluke cylindrical cloud formation? Due to our proximity to the ocean at the time, I can only surmise that the parent cloud was out over water.

TIA!
Be well, TR

And believe it or not, there really is a McLobster!

Good day,

Nice shot!

Could be a waterspout if over water, but un-deniably a funnel cloud beneath a cumulus buildup.

Possible cold core environment?
