Had to get a new computer a few days ago, and the Best Buy guy convinced me that this laptop running 64-bit Vista was the way to go ... and I really am happy with the machine for the most part.

Anyway, I'm not able to run a few things on it, it seems. Most software works great, but I can't for the life of me get Spotter Network to work, no matter what I try. I've tried compatability mode using a variety of settings and it's still a no-go.

Anyone else running this OS and know a work-around for the issue? I've already posted on SN, but we're having trouble figuring out a way to make it work. Thanks!

I ended up uninstalling Vista 64 Ultimate on mine cause it causes major issues with other weather programs that I use like Global Tracks 7

SN uses the .net libraries for many of its functions. Have you checked with Tyler to see if it's been compiled for 64-bit operating systems? There is an option in the programming IDE that allows compiling for any CPU, or for just a subset. Any CPU makes slightly larger compiled code, but it should be compatible with Vista64-bit.
