Streaming using G+ Hangouts

Has anyone tried streaming via Google + and using the Hangouts?

I have noticed I can use manycam to select the size of my video, and use G+ hangouts to control the bandwidth to some degree, but was curious to see if anyone had streamed this way?
Certainly it would be out in the public and you could post the stream to your G+ wall, but I was curious to see if anyone had tried it as of yet.

I got it to work, on a laptop with an usb webcam, but i haven't used it while chasing.
Its pretty easy to use and a YouTube.com url for your stream is great.
The client setup is straight forward.
I didn't use it cause of bandwith issues in the field using tethering on an at&t ipad.
