I don't get that error at all. I suspect it's related to your having the old version of Tapatalk.

Could be the site API supports V2 and not V1.

I'm still getting a strange reaction from the New Posts tab: it always says there are no new posts. So I wait out the required time, then click the Last 24 hours tab and find all the new posts I haven't read.
